It’s been a great summer filled with grandkids, trips, fishing … but it’s not over yet!
My bags are packed and come this Saturday morning, Sept. 8, my brother Mark and I are leaving on a week-long motorcycle trip to Colorado — weather providing. First stop will be daughter Sherri’s home in Windsor, Colo., where we’ll check the week’s weather throughout the Rockies and then make a determination to travel the winding roads filled with switchbacks, camp and fish or head north through Wyoming and into the Black Hills of South Dakota.
Either route, it’s going to be a lot of fun. And on this trip, I’ll surpass the 70,000-mile mark since I purchased my 1998 Honda Magna in October 2001.
So in the next week, don’t expect a lot of posts on View From The Midwest. I’ll check in and post when I can, maybe post a picture or two.
I’ll begin posting again on a regular basis after next week. Until then, keep those cards and letters coming because we love to hear from you.
