The Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens offers the Outdoor Classroom, an outdoor field trip experience designed to educate young children about nature in a fun and exciting way.
Youngsters learn about plants and animals through observations, hikes, games, stories and hands-on activities. There are several topics from which to choose. There is a small fee to register.
