At 11:56 a.m., Friday, Sept. 21, Olathe police officers responded to an injury accident in the 700 Block of Montclaire Drive.
When officers arrived they found a 4-year-old boy suffering from injuries after being struck by a Ford Explorer, which had been traveling NB on Montclaire Drive. The child was transported to Children’s Mercy Hospital in critical condition. The adult female driver of the vehicle was not injured and remained at the scene.
This case remains under investigation by the Olathe Police Department Traffic Unit. Anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to call the
