Olathe p0lice are investigating two incidents that happened this past weekend..
At 12:19 a.m. Monday, Sept. 24, officers were dispatched to Bass Pro Shops, 12051 South Renner Blvd. on a commercial burglary alarm.
Officers found forced entry into the building and 5 assault rifles missing. Lenexa Police Department K-9 responded to assist with a building search. Three adult males were later taken into custody with the assistance of the Shawnee Police Department.
At 5:52 p.m. Sunday, officers were dispatched to the 800 Block of South Parker on an aggravated robbery.
When officers arrived, they contacted the female victim who reported she was approached by a man armed with a knife who demanded money from her. Before the victim could respond, the man cut the victim multiple times. She was able to get away from the man and was later transported to an area hospital with non- life threatening injuries.
Officer’s arrested a 26-year-old man who was found walking in the area. He was later lodged in the Johnson County Adult Detention Center where he will remain pending an appearance in District Court.
