Just writing that creates tingling shutters to travel through my body and tickle my spine. And we’ve all tried to get out of accompanying our other halves on these oh-so-boring outings with varying excuses: mowing the lawn, changing the oil in the car, raking leaves, even washing clothes but usually to no avail.

Well, guys, keep reading and find out how you can get out of those shopping excursions forever — that’s right — forever and even have some fun along the way. I wish I could take credit for coming up with these ideas, but I can’t because this bit of information was passed on to me by my cousin Kenny.

3rd District Job Fair today at Great Mall

Third District Congressman Kevin Yoder will once again hold a Third District Job Fair and Resource Expo to help Kansans looking for employment and business owners seeking employees to meet face-to-face. The Job Fair and Resource Expo will be on Wednesday, May 1st at the Great Mall of the Great Plains in Olathe, and will include a special morning hour exclusive to veterans.

Last year’s job fair at the Great Mall was a tremendous success, and Yoder said he was looking to repeat that success this Spring.

“We all recognize the importance of helping our returning veterans get jobs after their courageous service for our country, so we will again focus on them for the first hour,” he said. “I encourage everyone looking for work to attend.” Continue reading
