Police K9 national conference in full swing

Free public demonstration Thursday

The NAPWDA (North American Police Work Dog Association) National Conference began on Monday June 3 and will run through Friday June 7 at several different venues throughout the city.

The public demonstration is still set for Thursday June 6 at 7 p.m. at the College Boulevard Activities Center, 11031 S. Valley Rd. (111th & Lone Elm Rd). This demonstration will include all the specialty phases as well as suspect apprehension and tracking.

City Council

The Olathe City Council will next meet Tuesday, June 4 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber at City Hall for a regular session. Track Projects with New Interactive Capital Improvement Plan Map

Track the progress of projects in your area with the new interactive Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) map. The map shows all projects which are included in the 2013-2017 CIP, including street projects, water and sewer projects, parks, etc. The Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) is a five-year priority listing of all capital projects, including project financing information consistent with the City’s debt management policies. All projects are reviewed and approved by the Olathe City Council based on the City’s priorities and goals to provide the best environment and support for Olathe’s residents.
