Hit the links June 20 for ‘All Can Golf Players’ Clinic’ and tourney

Join us June 20 for the “All Can Play Golf Players’ Clinic” just before the start of the “Third Annual Greater Kansas City Spinal Cord Injury Association Golf Tournament.”

Meet Anthony Netto, founder of the Paramobile assistive mobility device & The Stand Up and Play Foundation. The Paramobile provides users greater freedom, independence and quality of life. Judge for yourself, or ask Jason Ross.

Marine Staff Sergeant Jason Ross lost both his legs in Afghanistan, but he can still enjoy a day at the beach with his family and his Paramobile. The Paramobile comes to Kansas City June 20 to hit the links.

Originally designed for golfers with disabilities, the Paramobile will be one of the featured attractions from 10 a.m. to noon June 20 at Heart of America Golf Academy, 7501 Blue River Road, Kansas City, Mo., (816) 513-8940.

There are an estimated 30,000 people with disabilities in the Kansas City and the “All Can Golf Players’ Clinic” will be an opportunity to test new ways to enjoy the outdoors, whether it’s golf, archery or fishing.

The $16,500 all-terrain vehicle offers freedom and independence. Ross can now stand facing others at eye level and enjoy the health benefits of increasing circulation and digestion, stretching tendons and ligaments, reducing spasticity and preventing joint seizure.
