Tate Stevens to headline Edgerton’s Frontier Days

Belton, Missouri native Tate Stevens will be the featured act on  Saturday night of this year’s annual Frontier Days event in Edgerton. Stevens, who won the second season of the U.S. “The X Factor” in 2012, secured a $5 million recording contract.

Stevens released his debut song “Holler If You’re With Me” in a commercial produced by Pepsi, which aired during the 2013 Grammy Awards. Tate Stevens’ self-titled debut album was released in 2013. The album debuted at number 18 on the Billboard 200 with 17,000 copies in its first week.

The 43rd annual Edgerton Frontier Days will showcase a variety of entertainment during the two-day event on Friday,  June 19th and Saturday, June 20th.

Friday night’s entertainment begins by featuring sisters Barbara and Lisa Bowman, “The Women of Rock” is a tribute to some of the most well-known and influential female rock artists of the seventies and eighties. The evening is capped off with the music of Journey by tribute band “Revelation”.

Saturday’s entertainment kicks off in the afternoon with various local Christian bands, followed shortly by national country artist, Phil Vandel.  Phil has literally performed everywhere from Hollywood to DC and Canada to Mexico.

Opening for Tate Stevens Saturday evening is “Broseph E. Lee”, a country rock band. Broseph E. Lee’s original sound has been well received, landing opening acts with some of the top names in country music.

Other Frontier Days activities will include a carnival, parade, food & vendor booths, baby contest, Cops & Bobbers, beer garden, magic show, chainsaw carving,  ice cream social and much more.
