Olathe police will be looking for impaired drivers

As part of our ongoing commitment to the reduction of accidents involving intoxicated drivers, the Olathe Police Department will conduct a saturation patrol on Tuesday, May 5.

During the course of this saturation patrol, additional Police Officers,  funded by grants from the Kansas Department of Transportation, will be out looking for intoxicated drivers.

As part of our ongoing work with KDOT, we will also be engaged in strict enforcement of the seat belt laws as a means of reducing critical injuries stemming from motor vehicle accidents.

We encourage all drivers to wear their seat belt and drive responsibly.
