Robbie Meadows

1933-2017
Nelma Keepsie (Robinson) Meadows passed peacefully in her Olathe home November 11, 2017. The daughter of Raymond Carles Robinson and Clara Julia Britana (Bell) Robinson she was born November 12, 1933 in Oilton Oklahoma. Her early childhood was spent in Oklahoma and high school years were in Mission, Kansas where she graduated from Shawnee Mission High School in 1951.

Robbie, as she was known as by friends and family in Kansas, owned and operated Olathe Office Supply with her husband Jerry Meadows for many years finally retiring from United Office Products. Socially she was the pied piper of the Red Hat Ladies, enjoyed playing any kind of card game and puzzles a winter favorite.

She is survived by children Karen Lynn (Kary) Mann, Joseph D. (J.D.) Mann Jr. and Phillip B. (Phil) Mann and wife Lisa; Grandson Phillip B. Mann Jr. and wife Nikki and Great Grandson Elias Andrew Mann who enjoyed rolling around on the floor with his Granny only days before her passing. Robbie’s extended family includes stepdaughter Tina M. Meadows, granddaughter Mariah N. Meadows, and great granddaughter Aubree L. Meadows. Robbie the youngest of 10 siblings was known to her many nieces and nephews as Aunt Nel.

Robbie requested that in lieu of gifts or flowers that donations be made to the Jordan Robert Mann Foundation (Robbie’s grandson) www.mypassionateheart.org or the Special Olympics in her name. A Celebration of Life is anticipated at a later date; please reach out to the family for further information.
