Floyd Weaver, 84, of Hillsdale, KS passed away December 15, 2015.

Celebration of life will be 6:00pm to 8:00pm Friday, December 18th, 2015 at Bruce Funeral Home in Spring Hill, KS 913- 592-2244. Private family inurnment will be at Hillsdale Cemetery at a later date. Memorial Contributions may be made to American Heart Association or Wayside Waifs. Floyd was born May 31, 1931 in Spring Hill, KS to Pleasant Peter Weaver and Maude Elizabeth Pettet. He grew up in Hillsdale and attended Spring Hill High School. He worked as a truck driver since he was 17 years old and served many years on the Marysville Township Board. Floyd Married Aleta Noami Richardson on June 12, 1965 in Hillsdale, KS. Floyd was known as the “Junk Man” by his friends and his dad nick named him “Peanuts.” He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Floyd loved life and spending time with kids and grandkids. He will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Floyd was preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Kenneth, Alma, Billie, Wanda, and Pauline.

He is survived by his wife Aleta of the home; children: Leatha and husband Clint Simpson of Lake Tapawingo, MO, Leslie and husband Ray Belt of Osawatomie, KS, Curtis Weaver of Hillsdale, KS and Melissa of Pleasant Hill, MO and Billie Jo and husband Jason Miller of Lane, KS; 8 grandchildren: Leah, Lynsey, Cooper, Cody, Caleb, Kyli, Owen, Cash; 4 great grandchildren: Trenten, Olivia, Adriana, and Diezel.
