Mrs. Magdalena “Marlene” Fuller (Hofmann) died peacefully on February 13, 2017 in Leawood, Kansas at the age of 90.

Marlene Fuller is survived by her daughter, Annelie Rosenblum (husband, Jan Rosenblum) of Overland Park, Kansas; her granddaughter, Danielle Wilson (husband, Justin Wilson) of Denver, Colorado; her grandson, Michael Rosenblum of Olathe, Kansas; great-granddaughter, Arbor Wilson of Denver, Colorado; her sister, Rita Zahner of Germany; and her brother, Adolf Hofmann of Germany.

Marlene Fuller is preceded in death by her husband, Percy A. Fuller of Olathe, Kansas.
Marlene Fuller was born on December 13, 1926 in Prolsdorf, Germany (House 32) to Andreas and Maria Hofmann. Marlene married Percy A. Fuller, an American Soldier, she fell in love with during WWII in Germany. They were married in 1956.

Marlene was an accomplished gardener and culinary expert and won several awards for her roses and flower arrangements. She was a generous and dedicated individual who loved gardening, dancing, and socializing and who was passionate about beautification and experiencing the cultures of the world through travel. She was an active and dedicated member of the German American Club of Kansas City, the Kansas City Rose Society, the Olathe Civic Garden Club, and St. Paul’s Catholic Church. The family would like to thank Ascend Hospice, Healthcare Resort of Leawood, Menorah Medical Center, and Shawnee Mission Medical Center for their efforts/care/dedication.

Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Fr. Michael Hermes will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 20th at St. Paul Catholic Church 900 S. Honeysuckle Drive Olathe, Kansas. A visitation is scheduled for Sunday, February 19th at McGilley & Frye Funeral Home 105 East Loula Street, Olathe, Kansas. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Marlene Fuller’s life.
