Reva Jean Warrell, 92, of Bucyrus, KS passed away December 30, 2015 at Blackhawk Assisted Living in Spring Hill.

Funeral service will be 11:00 am Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at First Baptist Church, 19950 Broadmoor Lane, Stilwell, KS 66085. Burial will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Overland Park, KS. Visitation will be from 6 – 8:00 pm Tuesday, January 5, 2016 also at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Stilwell or Crossroads Hospice.

Jean was born June 6, 1923 in Stilwell, KS to Edgar W. and Naomi Beatrice (Sharp) Jones. She grew up in Merriam, KS and graduated from Rural Shawnee Mission High School. Jean married Parke Darrell Warrell March 18, 1942 in Merriam, KS. After getting married they moved to Bucyrus and she has always lived on Antioch Rd. Jean was an active member of the First Baptist Church and the ABW. She volunteered for the food pantry, preparing monthly meals for senior citizens for years. She was always serving or helping people in need. Jean also was a member the Ladies Auxiliary for KC General Hospital and St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was a lady golfer at Brookridge Country Club and belonged to her garden club for many years. Jean was always active with her children and grandchildren and she will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Parke in 2003 and siblings: Bruce Ward Jones, Edwina Moore and Francis Jones. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Hamilton of Bucyrus, KS; son, Mark and wife Linda Warrell of Stilwell, KS; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
