Robert “Bob” Leroy Weaver, age 62, passed away at his residence in Gardner, Kansas on Friday, May 22nd, 2015 due to medical complications.

Bob was born September 21st, 1952 in Hutchinson, Kansas to Clarence L. Weaver and Susan M. Weaver. He was the youngest of three children.

Bob graduated from Hutchinson High School and subsequently joined the United States Air Force from 1972 to 1978, where he was honorably discharged with the rank of sergeant.

Following his military service, he moved to Fort Worth, Texas where he lived and worked until 1993, at which time he moved with his family to Olathe, Kansas to work in medical office management and information technology. At the time of his passing, he was employed by CenturyLink in Gardner, Kansas.

Bob was a warm and fun-loving individual. Always the science-fiction enthusiast, he enjoyed his annual trips to comic-con with his daughters, martial arts and sleight of hand magic.

He is survived by his brothers David Weaver and Jim Weaver, as well as his children, Aaron Taylor, Sarah Weaver, and Allysan Weaver.

A military burial service will be held at Leavenworth National Cemetery, Wednesday June 3rd, 2015 at 11:00 AM.
