William “Bill” Lewis Witcher, Jr.


William “Bill” Lewis Witcher, Jr., age 66 of Wellsville, KS passed away Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Olathe Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 11AM, Monday, August 24, 2015 at Wilson’s Funeral Home in Wellsville. Visitation will be 4-6PM, Sunday evening also at Wilson’s. Interment in the Wellsville Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association in care of Wilson’s, PO Box 486, Wellsville, KS 66092.
William “Bill” L. Witcher, Jr., was born July 7, 1949 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of William L. Witcher, Sr. and Shirley Anne (Davis) Witcher. He graduated from Olathe High School in 1967. On June 1, 1973 he married Lorna Sue Westhoff in Olathe. She survives at the home.
Bill worked for King Radio in Olathe for 26 years as a systems analyst and programmer. He retired from Garmen International in 2013 after working 14 years there. Bill loved camping and boating. He enjoyed photography and spending time with his family.
Bill is survived by his wife of the home; his daughter, Cindy Crim of Edgerton; son and his wife, Tony and Tina Witcher of Houston, TX; son Andy Witcher of Wellsville; 5 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
